Abstract
Next Generation Optical Interferometers with a spatial resolution of 0.1 mas in the K band will lead to major steps forward in our understanding of Active Galactic Nuclei. In this paper, I will show how they can be used to study the morphology of the obscuring torus, the geometry and kinematics of the Broad Line Region, Supermassive Black Holes in galactic nuclei and the cosmological evolution of their relations with the host galaxies.
